Clean Lens - Microfiber Cloth in Your Sleeve

In the left sleeve is a special pocket with a flexible strap and a metal clip. You can attach a microfiber cloth to clean your lens or camera. Thanks to the clip, you can easily use the cloth even in strong winds and don't have to worry about losing it.

Regardless of wind and weather - Take your picture!

At first glance, the functional outer jacket looks like a stylish parka that you can easily wear in everyday life. But it is a light water and wind resistant outdoor jacket (6000 mm) made of tear-resistant 228T nylon treated outdoor fabric.

The inside mesh makes it comfortable to wear, highly breathable and improves air circulation. The zips situated under the arms can be used for additional ventilation during physical activity. A welded 2-way YKK zipper provides additional water/wind protection and freedom of movement at lower angles.

Wrist wind stoppers seal the jacket even in strong winds and prevent unnecessary heat loss. In addition, the sleeves can be tightened via Velcro.

The hood sits tight when closed to protect against rain and wind. The front side has a longer cut to "shield" the camera and viewfinder. You can additionally tighten the hood with elastic bands.

Haukland Padded Jacket - Layer 2

A padded jacked with hood n a trendy check quilt and currently only available in black. Keeps you warm on chilly days.

If it's not raining, you can wear the padded jacket on its own. If you want to protect yourself against rain and wind, simply zip it into the outer jacket. The hood and sleeves can be connected to the outer jacket via buttons and eyelets. The jacket has a slightly longer cut than normal padded jackets without peeking out under the outer jacket.

           

The Haukland padded jacket has 8 pockets:

  • 2 large front pockets secured with a zipper
  • 1 microfiber cloth pocket with an elastic strap and metal clip in the left sleeve
  • 5 pockets "Mini Photo Bag" on the inside

Since we assume that this jacket will be used in snow, we have added a waterproof film to the "Mini Photo Bag" so you can drop the jacket in the snow without exposing your electronic equipment.

Haukland Fleece Jacket - Layer 1

You can wear the Haukland fleece outdoors on chilly fall days or even in the office. It is designed longer than standard fleece jackets. This keeps the seam between the jacket and pants covered and warm.

The fantastic feature of fleece fabric is that it protects against a light drizzle, but also transports moisture to the outside. You don't transpire as quick and stay cozy at the same time.

If it rains more heavily, you simply zip the fleece jacket into the outer jacket. Now you are warm and have an additional rain protection.

You can attach both the sleeves and the collar to the outer jacket with eyelets and buttons.

I am a rather narrow type with slightly wider shoulders – the jacket sits very comfortably and feels really high quality. At first I thought that the length or the bright yellow color would bother me, but it doesn’t. I already know this shift jacket type from the brand with the paw-logo, but I have to say: At Haukland – or Ben – you get better quality and more flexibility for relatively less money.
